I will check the gauss on them and if needed run them through my magnetizer setup. I will take the pickups out and wax pot them, the micro phonics will make your ears bleed at volume. The polarity would have been done at the factory, as this guitar had never been opened up, the only thing was that someone had replaced the tone knob with a fender one, the pot was shot not the knob, i have sourced an original Teisco knob and pot ,and also the correct headstock badge apparently they were a polular thing to take off the guitar, plenty of Del Ray badged, not many of the plain ones. Its all original barring a tone knob (i have an original) and i havent played it for awhile its been in its case for years, To plug this in is to ignite a wildcat, its a cranky beast, so we get on well together I got this 1965 model from Japan about 2005, i believe it was a students guitar that sat in the cupboard for many many years, its in very good condition for 50yrs old, the rockers switches need a mod so they are a bit tighter. Haha No that wasnt written by me, i dont have that much spare time, but i have done alot of research on Teiscos, and another of my passions, Watkins Rapiers.
